Why are winter perennial's are a must for your garden.

Winter is a long season or at least it seems to be !!! So helping it along with a bit of glamour, style and colour will help your garden look bright, attractive and interesting.The secret to prolonging the seasons is to carefully plan your planting scheme. Hard landscaping is apparent every day of the year BUT it is the well thought out planting that sets the garden off, giving it a sense of purpose and grace. Planting adds softness, colour and movement to every garden. It compliments hard materials such as patios, paths and decked areas. Blurring harsh lines and angles.



Helebores

Hellebores are a real must for bringing colour and grace to your garden. They thrive in partial shade and and brighten a bed or border with there numerous cup shaped flower heads. The flower heads are bent slightly but display a magnificent display of mottled and multi coloured interiors. The colour range with Hellebores is wide and they can range from pale white, cream. pure white, pink, green, purple and to almost black.

These pure white Hellebores really shine through on a cold and dark winters day. Removing the leaves has showcased these showy and beautiful flower heads. The stems are often mottled and bend over to reveal there intricate inners.
